Fit2026 Update: The First 2kg Are Gone!

The first two weeks of my Fit2026 challenge are officially in the books, and I’m thrilled to report a loss of 2kg (4.4 pounds).

It hasn’t been a walk in the park so to speak, (though there was plenty of actual walking in the park involved!). Staying disciplined while there are still Christmas sweets lurking in the cupboards was a challenge, and I’ll admit a few “leftovers” found their way to me. However, I’ve managed to stick to my schedule and keep the momentum going overall.

The highlights so far:

  • Variety is key: I’ve been hitting the pool for swimming, getting on the court for squash, and keeping up with regular workouts and walks.
  • Consistency: Despite the treats, the overall routine and nutrition is holding strong.

I’m feeling motivated and ready for the next phase. My next update will be on Monday, February 2nd, and from then on, I’ll be posting an update every Monday to keep the accountability high.
